How I long to go back to my childhood
And sit on my mother’s lap
And hear her sweet voice in the kitchen
As she worked the night away
O it brings me much nostalgia
To think of all my childhood friends
Who gave me all the love that a young boy would
need
That’s why I’m what I am
Yes they gave me all the fun that a young boy
would need
That’s why I’m here today.
