Schloss Ahrensburg (Ahrensburg castle) on the outside of Hamburg, Schleswig-Holstein, Germany. The renaissance castle was built from 1570 to 1585 by Peter Rantzau. Since 1955 it is the home to the “Museum der schleswig-holsteinischen Adelskultur” (museum on the history of aristocracy in Schleswig Holstein).
